Organization For Afghanistan Improvement and Research (OAIR) is professionally managed committed Afghan, non-governmental, non-political and non-profit development-oriented organization. It was established in 2012 to meet the dire needs of vulnerable Afghan refugees and internally displaced families.

OAIR head office is located in Kabul city whereas for successful outreach and effective implementation of projects in target areas it has provincial offices in Herat, Badghis, Uruzgan, Nimroz, Zabul, Helmand, Farah and Kandahar provinces. OAIR has skilled, experienced, qualified professionals who have capacity and competent involved to all the desired activities that promotes the goal and objective of the institution/OAIR. Moreover, OAIR's staff are all well versed with local areas, their cultures and social norms with strong community relations, including tribal elders, Shuras and government authorities. It is worth mentioning that our management, facilitators, and project staff specialize in the many aspects of project designing & implementation for the community development. OAIR's staff have strong local knowledge of community development in Afghanistan and are familiar with key players both in donors and government. It does its best to provide value to its clients and solutions to their pressing needs. OAIR is a scalable organization, able to react promptly and successfully to any project regardless of size or complexity.

OAIR, worked from the past years, till now by adopting different strategies based on the problem intensity planning for program implementation with specific Terms of References (TOR) for each project, and adopted effected monitoring and evaluation systems to reach the target group for their Empowerment and to make them self-reliant and self-sufficient, for empowerment in all the aspects in development in all the aspects in development process, based on the needs of the deprived sections of the community, implemented, implementing different projects for times of difficult situations.
